The Political Activist, Ijaw political commentator and Media Crusader, Elagha Isaac (Mr. Congressman) in his writing, wrote an Appeal to Gov. Douye Diri to Reduce the School fees of NDU in the State.
In the news, Dear Sir Gov. Douye Diri, I hereby appeal to you to please Reduce the School fees of NDU to a minimum amount so that Some of the Public and Civil Servants can train their children in the school.
How do you expect a civil Servant who at the end of the Month earn's #50,000 or #30,000 to pay to school fee of #110,000 or #30,000 at the end of a semester in the school, whereas the civil Servant will eat before the end of the month and some times he/she has hold some credits because of Delay of Salaries and will pay the credits out of that money.
I believe by so doing, the Civil Servant can't train his/her child to university level.
If this school fees are reduced, it will create a Positive impact in the lives of the People, most Especially Ijaw's.
It will be better this school fees are reduced to a minimum level to sustain some people.
This is one of the Reasons the Ijaw's are suffering, the angry youths will start hold gun and Harmful substances just to survive.
It will be helpful if you reduce the school fees of NDU.
