The executive Governor of Delta state, His Excellency Senator Dr. Okowa Ifeanyi had ask the federal government to review the already existing Revenue Allocation formula to reflect the current problems both in states and local government areas.
He made the state when he met with the Executives of Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON) at the Government house, Asabe earlier Thursday.

The Governor added that, the review of the Revenue allocation will yeild a positive result to the Nigerian economy and also Local Government Areas will have their own part in handling things in Nigeria.
He said ;
“We have generally, as a nation, made local government administration take up serious responsibilities like payment of local government council staff and primary school teachers’ salaries without providing the necessary funds for them.
The Governor urged the Federal Government to review the formula for easy functioning.
