Akure_____ Shortly after the meeting with Arogbo and Apoi clans delegates in Akure, the frontline Presidential aspirant in the forthcoming ljaw National Congress (INC) election, Alaowei Fred Owotorufa also paid an unscheduled visit to the honourable commissioner for information Ondo State, Hon. Donald Ojogo at his private residence in Akure, Ondo State capital.
During the visit, the Commissioner for information who hailed from Arogbo in Ese Odo LGA, of Ondo state, stressed that he get to know Owotorufa through one of the online news platform where he red about his profile. He said he was imprest with Alaowei Owotorufa's high ranking profile and that with his wealth of experience in the oil and gas sector coupled with his security acumen, he stands the best candidate to liberate ljaw nation through the apex body INC in this trying time. Hon. Ojogo said he never had interest in IYC neither INC activities in the past, but due to Owotorufa intimidating profile, he was forced to support him owing to his pedigree. He assured him of maximum support and congratulate him in advance, stressing that there is no vibrant opponent among the various aspirants to challenge him, Ojogo stated.
In his reaction, Alaowei Owotorufa was perplexed of the kind gesture of Hon. Ojogo for the wonderful warm reception he offered him and his campaign team. He officially declared his intention to become the next President of lNC with the vision to revigorate Congress to the ideals of the founding fathers. He promise not to disappoint ljaw nation when eventually given the mandate to serve. He however, solicited for Hon. Ojogo support by convincing Apoi and Arogbo delegates to cast their votes for him, and every other aspirants under his umbrella, he noted.
