Rev.Dr.owoubiri James samylo was born on the 21st March 1952 at bolou Tamigbe,his maternal home in current burutu Local govt area,Delta state to late pa James Abelewa of Amanaedumu quarters,Torugbne town and late mama pereke James (ñéè baoba) of Tamigbe town.
He(samylo) attended the then local Authority school, Torugbene from 1959-1965.He had the blessing of the Holy spirit at a tender age while in the primary school, He was a visioner unknown to himself and his friends.
He first joined the fellowship of Christ through the cherubim and seraphim society, Torugbene under the leadership of Late senior Apostle Boukeregha.He(samylo) was a salvation army in the house of God.
He served under many prophets,to mention just a few:*Prophet Akama
*prophet Youkobide
*Prophet Gidimene and
*Late Apostle Asiaseimor Tumbo.
The blessing of the holy spirit on him was so enormous. the spirit made him so restless, he was speaking in tongues and singing spiritual songs one after the other.
There where a lot insinuations wryly expressions that church will not grow........
This continued for a long time until Late Saint Babu Asiaseimor confirmed that it was the Holy spirit that was moving samylo.
From his(samylo) songs, the name SAMYLO was revealed to the brethren.
He was both a salvation army and choir. He was a prophet and miracle worker in house of GOD.
In 1976, the spirit of God moved him to wonder in the forest and the christian brothers and sisters went in search of him and later found him. He then revealed to them that, the spirit had directed him to go and clear a new land to preach his gospels. His spiritual gifts /growth increased in daily basis and his spiritual works had no equal in the church. Later in the year he sang another song.

Himself and his lieutenant, sir salazy in that new year convention at kpakiama confronted late Rev. Apostle Royals ogboloseri with the song and Rev. Ap. Royals confirmed that, it's biblical.
As directed by the Holy spirit, Samylo went with seven others to the site at 5:00am on the 28th April 1978.
He became founder and General overseer of christian united church of Zion at the age of twenty -six(26yrs). He has served in this position for over 40years now.
At the beginning of his ministry, there where alot of insinuations that the church will not grow, they shall pack back in due course, when samylo followers heard this ugly news, they confronted him on the authenticity of his vision and samylo responded with a song.

He said though the number is few now but God will not let him down, for as much as God has given to him will come to join him.
Through his spiritual works, the church started opening branches, twenty (20) branches were opened between 1979 and 1988.
This great achievement is not by power or might but by the mercies of God.
Because of his concern for the welfare of sister churches (Denomination) at Aleibiri in the seraphic unification conference , they honored him as the SERAPHIC PATRON in August 2005.
The Barakaman christian university, New York America in conjunction with the Royal Theological seminary has also conferred on him the Degree of Doctor of Divinity (DD), Spiritual Adviser to the Nigerian college of Doctors and Justice of Peace by the Bayelsa state ministry of Justice.
His other titles are, Spiritual Diamond, Baba zuwa, Spiritual thunder 24hrs, Israel chamber, The One and only Ambassador representing the izon nation, the king of DÃrÃmó bénà etc.
He is happily married and blessed with children.
