Mama, though did not acquired formal educated but she had great love and vision for education and was also a dedicated Christian.      She had her early Christian life in the Cherubim and Seraphim Church under the leadership of Senior Apostle Boukeregha and Senior Apostolic Mother Nduna Etor-owei in Torugbene.

Benevolent as Late Onu was, she significantly, contributed to the physical and financial growth of the Isreallo Zion Community and the Christian United Church of Zion.  She also contributed in expanding the land on which Isreallo Zion is situated. Her financial contributions partly, facilitated the registration of the Church with the Co-operate Affairs Commission (CAC) of Nigeria.
She contributed largely to the early development of Christian United Church in its infancy.

Late Onu sponsored many of Dr. Dynamic Samylo’s early missionary journeys around the creeks of Niger Delta. Her efforts towards the growth and development of Dr. Dynamic Samylo life were remarkable. Dr. Dynamic Samylo’s biography, combined with the history the Isreallo Zion community and the Christian United Church of Zion would be incomplete, without a mention of Late Mrs. Onu Ebegha. Suffice it to say, Onu is a nation builder.
