In 1991, Delta state was created and Luke Chijiuba OCHULOR was appointed as first Administrator of the State.
It's time, ijaw man became a Governor of the state.
Felix Ibru (Urhobo man) became the first Governor of DELTA state, succeeded by James Ibori (Urhobo man), after was Emmanuel Uguaghan and Incumbent Governor Okowa Ifeanyi., based on my groupings, it is time IJAW man take the mantle of leadership from them.
It is said that, Delta state is made of Ijaw, Urhobo, Itsekiri, Isoko and Igbo people. For the look of things, Igbo people have ruled (Okowa), Urhobo have ruled (Luke and James Ibori) and Itsekiri have also ruled and it's time Ijaw person lead the state in 2023.
I emphasized the backward ness and Developmental challenges facing the ijaw (I on) people., even though they were the economics boosters of the state.
The Governorship slot rotates round the three senatorial districts of Delta state with Gov. Okowa completing his last tenure (Delta North) in 2023., there is a renewed call for tribe or ethnic nationalities of taking the bull by the horn with the Ijaw nation on the saddle.
The Ijaws should be given the opportunity to become the next governor to ensure equity, fairness, and justice adding that the Ijaws have supported other tribes in achieving their Governorship ambitions in time past, and it's now our turn to be Governor of the state.
Ijaw nation is bleeding in Delta state, the Ijaw ethnic community that actually owns most of the land is left with empty-handed, I stresses that more money and the Governorship seat should be given to Ijaw man in order to tackle the chronic neglect the region has suffered.
When ever you look into the developmental aspect of the state according to tribes, the Ijaws are always in the last line.

Ijaw man should be the next governor of Delta state.To that effect, I call for synergy amongst ijaws and Deltans as well as one entity to support Ijaw agenda to produce the next governor of Delta state in 2023.
I also appeal to all political stakeholders in the state to respect and work for ijaw in 2023,adding that, the Ijaw people will not tolerate any form of political miscalculation, gimmick and blankets promise to seek their votes for personal political interest.
