AKURE - Daniel Dickson instructed the anti-Niger Delta in Nigeria, who has been interfaring in our affair's , VGG tell them to “shut their mouths,” in voicing against our local refinery, or that of our geniune agitation like self determination, Resource Control which recently brought Amnesty to develop our region for the well being of Nigeria existence.

“Regime change, Amnesty has been given to us, so therefore we should not ask for (Restructuring,)” Daniel Dickson mocked, referring to them and other anti - Niger Deltan's that had often oust our self determimation by strengthening the security agencies against our struggle.

While rumors of Dr. Goodluck Jonathan to contest the foughtcoming general election and infighting all Nigerians have raised speculation about his ability to return our country to the Nigeria we need, GEJ, who peacefully left office for PMB in 2015 general election, Daniel Dickson said as long as GEJ want's to contest, No tribe in Nigeria can stop him because this country belongs to everybody.

A long-time critic of some of our Niger Delta leaders, however, spared GEJ of any wrong, despite the fact that been the president from 2010 to 2015, after appointing large number of minister's from Niger Delta most especially Ijaws yet no form of development in our communities but the northern minister's in the same cabinet developed their states.

“But you [ kingsley Kuku ] have done a good job for us. You have visited our creeks, you have contribute largely for the well being of our youths when you where the Amnesty co-ordinator, whether it was salary or some other aspects, where calamities have occurred. We thank you for that,” said Daniel Dickson, adding, “since you left, that office has been an avenue for anti-Niger Deltans to hijack its purpose .”

VGG ON JOB CREATION.

Among Daniel Dickson’s biggest gripe with the Multinational Companies, is the absence of Niger Deltans not making any decisions concerning the preventions of oil spillage and it's consequences which affects our rural dewllers where the oil is been exploited leaving the people with no veto power– except selfish stakeholders, leaders, and some elders.

Daniel Dickson and other Niger Delta leaders have been pushing forward on petitioning the multinational companies and Amnesty head office to relocate it headquater's to Niger Delta region permanently where massive employment for our angry youths will be achieved to reduce the high rate of umeployment which will bring the story of oil vandalisation to a thing of the past, arguing that Niger Deltans shall justify the need for a say in crucial decisions, many of which affect the region.

“Ou rep's, senator's, Governor's and the massess, this is the body of Niger Delta, the body of respected people.” Daniel Dickson stressed, again urging ( DSP ) Omo Agege to deliver this message.

“Tell them we are not ghosts, that we also belongs to Nigeria … part of the world called ( OIL RIVER PROTECTORATE ) and we shall no longer tolerate a position of slavery, slavery by any other name. By denial of rights, slavery by being treated in a manner we regard as not equal to the way in which they treat themselves.”

Failure by the FG to ( Restructure ) Nigeria, ANDIP suggest a mass protest by Niger Deltans in coming days, as was proposed by South South Governor's (Seven ) demands and Endsars protester's demands which has been accused of targeting the Niger Deltans, though many are members.

“If we decide as we shall certainly do so one day, that down with the FG, we are not part of Nigeria, Northermers are real members of this country we are treaded as second class citizen's, and we can’t continue to be seen as second class citizen's of Nigeria,” said Daniel Dickson.

“If Nigeria is to survive, we must be equal and have autonomous region. Equal citizens… who can say when we sit in upper chamber, that we can now, speak truly as citizens with a voice that is understood, respected and honoured. “

Taking the argument further, Daniel Dickson, questioned the location of the Amnesty and Multinational companies headquarter's – Abuja / Lagos  – saying it headquater's should be in the state's where the oil is been exploited, namely Warri, Calabar, Port harcourt and others.

“Where large job opportunies will be embraced, having over (5) million unemployed graduates in our region?.” Daniel Dickson queried, after calculating that the crude oil in our land contribute's over (95%) of the economy of this country just alone.

“Now let have autonomous region, resources control, and then have our own security outfit,  How many are there, using their neigbourhood islamic brother like the Niger's population against us ?. And how long shall we continue to allow herdsmen to rape and kill our people, even in our state and commmunities ? ”Enough is Enough.

NIGER DELTA LEADERS

In attacking the anti-Niger Delta, Daniel Dickson has been specially critical of the carba which has imposed targeted sanctions on our leader's as a pre-condition for better governance and human rights practices.

However, in his speech, Daniel Dickson took a swipe at our Niger Delta leaders, insinuating that they are powerless, has no real power because of the carba against our regions development and their political interest.

“There is (DSP) Omo Agege today, yes, but what is he? A voice to speak their language, to act their act. And not our act, but their act. They are still superiors.”

Daniel Dickson referred the inccident where a woman was stapped by Fulani Herdsmen, in Yenagoa, Bayelsa, where he said not much was said about the injustices against the peaceful people of this region, while Federal Government are quick to raise alarm over similar situations in Ijaw nation by burning communities.

“,Hey Niger Deltans, when you visit the creeks where the oil is been explored and exploited , you’ll shed tears,” said Daniel Dickson. There is no education for all. No health (care) for all. Children in the streets Instead of been in school and nobody seems to talk about it. Yet the (carba) instead, still want's to talk about us. “

ANDIP, accused the FG of falsely using its advocacy role against injustice as a means to enter Niger Delta states and force change everything that rightfully belong's to us.

“They are everywhere in Niger Delta. If not physically, through Agencies, through spies, through pretenders like herdsmen who come to us and say they are here to feed their cows. Even in groups, armed groups in some of our territories. What help is coming from them? Regime change,” Mr. Daniel Dickson concluded.

A SELF-SUFFICIENT NIGER DELTA

Our Niger Delta governor's and traditional rulers should adopt our “Resource control” policy to counter its growing isolation from the North and the authorities that come with it.

Leader Daniel Dickson in his speech, indicate a similar trend across Niger Delta, where he referred to “enhanced cooperation between Niger Delta and its strategic partners,”Presidential Amnesty Programme, Niger Delta Development Commission and several more to the region.

Vanguard For Good Governance describes the partnerships as “important platforms to advance our (region) agenda, with a view to ensuring mutual benefit and win-win cooperation.”

Beyond the partnerships, however, Daniel Dickson also stressed on the importance of this programmes to deliver their best for the development of our region and also take more on developing our seaport's, that will set development targets for Niger Delta over the next 50 years.

“Our leader's should take a principled position to progressively meet from our own natural resources, the bulk of our budget in order to ensure and safeguard the ownership and processes by Niger Deltan's,” said Daniel Dickson.

VGG leader also said “the implementation of this commitment would be a clear demonstration of our will and commitment to our region and will enable Niger Delta to occupy its rightful place in this country.”

He also stressed the need to step up industrialization which is the key to uplifting the lives of citizens, creating employment and ending poverty.in our region.

“We must not spare efforts to push for the industrialization of our states and LGA's with value addition and beneficiation at the core. Implementation of the Niger Delta Industrialization Strategy should be prioritized.”

Despite challenges that Niger Delta face in terms of bad leadership and several others, VGG, National Frontier said overall, "Niger Delta has come of age and that democracy is alive on our region".
