TRENDING: Comr Timipre Ndoni Calls For True Federalism In Nigerian Politics.

A foremost Niger Delta Human Right Activist, Comr. Timipre Ndoni calls for total true federalism and democracy practice in Nigeria, he stressed that the true federalism and democracy practice will help the country insecurity and the ugly situation in Nigeria.

Comr. Timipre further explain why the necessary need to adopt a true federalism and democracy practice in Nigeria politics. It is very obvious that Nigeria been as a country can't boost the aforementioned system of government. Why because in the normal sense Nigeria is a divided country by the rich and poor, political leaders, religious leaders, majority and minority. Oppression is the number one system of practice which the Nigerian government is operating on.

History made me understand that, Nigeria is practicing federalism (A system of national government in which power is divided between a central authority and a number of regions with delimited self-governing authority.) courtesy English Dictionary, but the said practice is no longer in existence because after introducing federalism system of governance the country couldn't maintained the existing law as we claimed.

During the era of former President, Chief Olusegun Obasenjo (GCFR) they formed "POLITICAL REFORMS CONFERENCE" in 2005 where the South South agitated for increase in derivation from 13% to 50% following the practice in the first Republic that gave 50% to regions for their produce; but the northern delegation rejected it due their selfish reasons of eating from the South South oil and selling their own products privately, e.g the Zamfara gold mine were the state has total control of selling it and given percent to the federal government.

If truly the NIGERIAN State is practicing federalism system of Government then why not give the South South their long time demand of the 50% derivation.

If I may ask, Did the Federal Government want to crippled our oil before they accept our demand.

A country where we said to practices democracy is totally brutalized by the top politicians, where is the true DEMOCRACY? I can't identify myself as a Nigerian because no such of true democracy practice in Nigeria, all I see oppression and intimidation of minority, therefore coming to claim that we're practicing democracy, it's very hilarious.

Let the Government of Nigeria do the needful before this country boil again, I swear this time it will be very difficult to calm the storm that is approaching when escalated.

Most especially Niger Delta needs special treatment from the Federal Government.

As Niger deltan man I demand for the relocation of the offices of the multinational oil companies that is operating in the Niger Delta regions.
