The Christian United Church of Zion Worldwide has announced the start of its annual Four-Day Spiritual Convention themed “Trusting the Lord.”
The four-day convention will take place from Thursday, October 30, to Monday, November 3, 2025, at Teriba Zion, Okpokunou Town, in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State. This convention aims to gather worshippers, ministers, and church leaders from across Nigeria for a time of revival, prayer, and fellowship.
The Christian United Church of Zion Worldwide was founded in 1978 by The Most Dynamic Leader King Dr. Samylo, a highly respected spiritual leader known for his dedication to the gospel and his ongoing efforts to promote unity and faith among believers. Since his passing, the church has expanded under the leadership of King Dr. Samylo II. The church continues to uphold its foundational vision of Love, Unity, and Faith. The movement has become one of the most recognized indigenous Christian ministries in the Niger Delta region and beyond.
According to the church National Executive Council, ably led by Senior Apostle Prince Odozi Ebegha as National Chairman, the convention will have Morning (6:00 a.m.), Afternoon (12:00 noon), and Evening (5:00 p.m.) sessions each day, focusing on spiritual renewal, deliverance, and solid biblical teachings.
The General Overseer, The Most Dynamic Leader King Dr. Samylo II, will lead the program, joined by the Chief Host, Superintendent Apostle Sunday Egena (Yaloki) of Teriba Zion, Okpokunou.
A group of experienced ministers from various Zion branches across the Niger Delta is also expected to speak during the four-day gathering, including:

In a statement by the National Chairman of the church, Senior Apostle Prince Odozi Ebegha (CNA), the convention aims to help believers connect more deeply with God through the Word and worship.
