Poor Performance: Burutu Youths Faults Law-Makers, Moved A Motion Of Censure On Them.
****Says they are Disappointed In The Level Of Performance In Their Various Political terrain.
The good people of Burutu Local Government area in a statement had moved a motion of censure on Their Lawmakers Both In Federal Level Or In Local Council in the low turn out of developing and ameliorating the lives of the people they claim to represent.
While making the official statement by Comrd Daniel Dickson and Isaac Elagha been the coordinators and frontiers of Burutu Like Mind Comrades and other prominent members like Comr David Owotorufa, Harry, Dickson Oweikebena, Comrade Timipre Ndoni, Edumunanagha Victor, Kingsley Harry Ebi and many others who partaked in the Online Protest of the youths were pained by massive Underdevelopment in the LGA and passed a Motion of Censure on them.
Lawmaking is not all about sitting down in a cosy ambience and making decisions for constituents, it also entails paying attention to constituents.
The ability for a lawmaker to communicate with constituents and receive feedback is key, effective legislators must be good at listening and feeling the pulse of the people.
The group also emphasized on the area where Councilors representing their wards in the LG Council has not impacted meaningful project to their various wards.
They wrote, A councillor's primary role is to represent their ward or division and the people who live in it. Councillors provide a bridge between the community and the council but in the case of Burutu, it's a different issue, we are feed up with this current Administration.
A new Administration is needed, Isaac said.
Federal Law-Makers should be very careful in doing their things because 2023 is not far again, Dickson Daniel added.
They also emphasized on the demolishing school & Health Sector buildings, but still nobody to speak for the people.
Burutu Local Government area needs Massive Development not with the Audio promises.
They vividly warned about their Ambition of coming as either LG Councilor or Federal Lawmakers.
Until you all in the house give a helping hand to Burutu Citizenrys, 2021 and 2023 Elections respectively will not favour you, Comrd Daniel Dickson concluded.
