Wow, indeed today is a great day for Ijaw nation and the Niger Delta at large, I can say Tompolo is the reincarnation of Late General Isaac Boro, the man who declared the Niger Delta Republic on 23rd February 1966 and battled with the Federal Government of Nigeria for 12 days before he was overpowered by the Armies.
High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo aka Tompolo has in no doubt written his name on gold and in the annal of history that can not be erased in the sand of time.
He is the man, the hero and the deity.
As they say, Birth marks the beginning of life just as death marks the end – and there was day and there was night – and there was the birth of an Tompolo after the death of Isaac Adaka Boro of which there's no doubt Tompolo is the reincarnation of Boro.
Though a great son of Gbaramatu Kingdom of Ijaw nation, he has become a towering National and International success whose remarkable life depicts the story of an endlessly fascinating man. An amiable man of unquantifiable endowments, his humility and great service to humanity have been widely attested to by people from far and near.
It is an acknowledged fact that the name has become synonymous with success because he made a success of whatever endeavours he embarked upon. He is often referred to as an epitome of success considering the level of successes achieved in the Niger which Boro left for him.
This humble achiever admiringly called Master by the people has shown through his words and deeds to be an enviable leader. Beyond that, however, his success story from birth pointed to a man who is destined for greatness.
He is a leader who becomes light that beams hope to the aspirations of common people, and impacts I on their dreams interestingly that his personality begins to serve as pathway to achieving unthinkable goals by anyone directly or remotely connected to his leadership ideology and practice.
Tompolo in his generousity and inclusive leadership is a man that belongs to everybody and as well to anybody who believes in his cause and ideology. This unique leader has a style that enables any of his followers to personalise ownership of him.
