NIGER DELTA UNIVERSITY UNREST AND SCHOOL FEES REDUCTION.
God day His Excellency Sir, First and foremost i would like to commend your led Administration for the Developmental strides in the state, Mostly the Capital city, you're doing well; I implore you not to relent but go continue with more projects for the good Characters of the state.
It's imperative to state here that, the crisis in the Niger Delta University is becoming unbearable and it's getting out of hand due to the recent Policies made by the Vice Chancellor, Sir Samuel E. Gowon about the Compulsory wearing of school uniform, Closure of school fee payment Portal and others, it's too risky to let the matter in that way.
It's getting out of hand as students both studying and people aspiring to study in the University has lost trust and Confidence in the school management, the recent Policies of the school made by the Vice Chancellor is too dishearten and unfortunate that the Bayelsa state Government hasn't done something positive about the Situation.
The rising school fees is something worth looking at; Your Excellency Sir....How do you Expect a Civil or Public Servant who's receiving a Monthly salary of #60,000 to Pay a wholesome of #110,000 as school fee just because he/ she want to train their Children to the Higher Level of Education, and that calculation hasn't included Course Enrollment fee, Feeding, Buying of text Books, and even accommodation.
Why should the students of Niger Delta University go this rigorous, Chaotic, demoralizing and inexplicable situation, why __ Is it an Offense to study in the University?
I can Smell it that, even though the School Fee Payment Portal is opened for one to two Months; some students will still fall out due to the Expensive fees but as a Matter of Fact the school Fee Payment Portal should be Opened and also the school fees should be reduced.
The school Management should be called or other or probably be Sacked!
I therefore implore you to consider the tough Situation of the Country and take a Quick action that will yield good tidings to the Students, University Community and Bayelsans at large.
